We have ventured out to Central Park several times in the last three weeks. We took Macy a couple of times and she loves the freedom of being able to roam and play in the leaves and grass. She has discovered squirrels and LOVES to chase them but she can't figure out what to do when they run up the trees. We haven't made it to Central Park before 9am yet but rumor is they allow dogs to run off their leashes and play with each other. This is definitely on our to do list!

New York City
Well, what the heck....I decided to make a blog about our little adventure in NYC! Brad and I decided that we wanted to do something a little crazy, which lead me to take a travel nurse assignment in NY. I got a job at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan on a step down unit. We packed up all our stuff, put it in storage, took our cars to our parents houses and boarded a plane!! with Macy of course! We Have been here for 3 weeks. I have to say that when we got off the plane we were excited and couldn't wait to see our apartment. We pulled up to our apartment and got out of the car, I not sure what my expression was on my face but there were piles of trash everywhere, including a couch on the sidewalk. We met the doorman and got our keys. Brad and I were staring at each other on the elevator ride up to the 5th floor....thinking what the H*** have we got ourselves into!!! We open the door to our apartment and walked in.... honestly we were kind of freaking out. Our apartment is nice, it has its ups and downs.
- Ups....Location, safety, doorman, elevator, laundry, allows pets, fully furnished.
- Downs... the heater (could it be louder), street noise at all hours of the night, and the apartment to the left of us!! (they have pulled their fire alarm three times since we have been here!)
